This RAID expansion enclosure features two 3.5-inch SATA drive bays, compatible with both 3.5" and 2.5" HDDs and SSDs, supporting interfaces up to 6 Gb/s, with the added advantage of hot-swappable drives for seamless storage management. Its main connection is a single USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps, allowing use with both QNAP NAS devices and PCs as a DAS (direct-attached storage) device, offering fast and reliable data access. RAID management is handled by a dedicated hardware microprocessor supporting JBOD, Single, RAID 0, and RAID 1 modes, providing flexible options according to security and performance needs. The internal file system is EXT4, while external drives support formats like EXT3, EXT4, NTFS, FAT32, HFS+, and exFAT, ensuring compatibility across multiple environments.
